A  Callery Pear tree was discovered in the ashes and rubble after 9/11. After great care and nurturing, survived and is now known as the "Survivor Tree."

This lovely pear blossom is hand cast as sterling silver earrings and accented with blush copper highlights, then centered with a red garnet.

A beautiful symbol of rebirth and hope.

This unique jewelry is made by creating molds directly from botanical elements in a process similar to lost-wax casting. Michael uses an actual leaf, branch or flower instead of a wax model. A mold is formed around the botanical element and during the heating process the plant matter is burned away leaving behind a detailed image of itself. Soft patinas are then used on cast bronze and further accented with pearls , beads, corals, glass or stones.
