The deep, matte, vibrant blue of the slender, rounded top vase body acts as a perfect backdrop for a lush, ethereally colored spray of flowers in shimmering, iridescent white and pale green with accents of 22K gold luster.
The floral design is carefully drawn and cut into the vase with a small blade while the clay is still soft. Stains, oxides, glazes and lusters are applied in layers and fired many times to achieve depth and a rich, vibrant variation of color. This vase has 22K gold painted and permanently fired on the surface.
