With it's characteristic dark head and feet, this Suffolk Lamb stands approx. 3" tall.

The Suffolk was developed in the early 1800's by crossing Southdown rams with Norfolk ewes. The result of this pairing was a sheep which maintained the strengths of both breeds while eliminating the weaknesses. They are mainly raised for wool and meat production especially when crossed with the progeny of a mountain ewe.
