Both timeless and modern, this functional teapot is perfect for the collector of hand built teapots.
With a well mounted handle, well fitting, pointed lid and curvaceous shape, it is a prime example of the potter's skill.
Composed of hand built, high fire stoneware, it's rich but subtle colored patterns in matte green and deep burgundy are the result of a combination of wax resist, latex, dipping and brushwork. Carbon trapped in the glaze during firing is the final touch.
Stands approx 7" tall and 8" wide
Not for use on an open flame or burner but completely functional following guidelines for hand built ceramic use; included with order.
