 Lushly colored green turtles with red eyes, swim across this hand blown glass vase.  More lovely pale gold and green colors form the background. A signature style by this artist is the use of stencils to create the animal, fish and bird designs he is known for.

Each glass vase, hot from the furnace, is rolled across a stencil, in this case a jumping frog pattern, picking up the image and fusing it to the body of the vase.

 Formulating their own glass combinations, mixing in metal oxides like cobalt, copper, zinc and chrome creates colors unique to the studio.
