These earrings feature deep blue cast glass violet "blossoms", accented with leaves and centers of cast bronze finished in 24k gold.  A single bloom dangles from a dainty gold leaf via a gold chain.  Vibrantly beautiful!

This unique jewelry is made by creating molds directly from botanical elements in a process similar to lost-wax casting. Michael uses an actual leaf, branch or flower instead of a wax model. A mold is formed around the botanical element and during the heating process the plant matter is burned away leaving behind a detailed image of itself. Soft patinas are then used on cast bronze and further accented with pearls , beads, corals, glass or stones.
