Petite Mobius Vermeil & Oxidized Silver Necklace

This petite mobius necklace is crafted by hand in K. Maley's California studio, and combines vermeil and oxidized silver for a mixed metal effect.

Alternating oxidized sterling silver and 22 karat gold vermeil "Mobius" design elements dance along the textured oval link chain.

Organic yet contemporary, this choker, with it's tumbling orbits of textured metal, works casually or for an elegant evening.

In this case, the Mobius spheress are created by taking a length of metal, giving it a half-twist, and then joining the ends together to form a loop with a single side. This concept was discovered discovered by German mathematician August Ferdinand Möbius in 1858,
