A flame-worked glass strawberry in a ripe red and delicate glass blossom are accented with two realistic leaves clusters. Cast in bronze and finished with 24k gold.

Organic yet elegant!
This unique jewelry is made by creating molds directly from botanical elements in a process similar to lost-wax casting. Michael uses an actual leaf, branch or flower instead of a wax model. A mold is formed around the botanical element and during the heating process the plant matter is burned away leaving behind a detailed image of itself. Soft patinas are then used on cast bronze and further accented with pearls , beads, corals, glass or stones.
