Allan Ditton makes each piece of High-Fired Stoneware that is hand dipped and fired using lead free glazes. The colors that you see are Matte Glazes and are not the raw clay, so they are food safe and water tight. No two pieces are exactly alike. They are safe to use in the microwave and dishwasher. Oven use is okay provided you heat the piece up along with the food.
