Nancy Reid Carr
Nancy Reid Carr is from North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Handcrafted images on Aluminum panels and handmade aluminum bracelets are printed by her lab, which is in the US. This process is very different to most aluminum printing.
In 2004 she completed a BA in Fine Art with a focus in Photography. She honed her craft and delved deep into the world of alternative process photography, experimenting with chemistry, hand coated paper, used the sun as a light source and made one of a kind images using a process called Salted Paper Printing.
The aluminum adds a unique luminosity that makes the image appear three dimensional.
