Pennsylvania artist Diane Kline creates small prints of her original paintings and transforms them into lovely eco-friendly works of wearable art. One miniature print, titled simply "Bamboo", features an artistic rendering of the beloved bamboo stalks and green foliage. The print is mounted atop a thick recycled paper surface, individually embellished, and enveloped in a crystal-clear high-strength resin to provide protection and rigidity. The pin has a magnetic closure.
The pins and scarves are presented in a splendid paper-mache' keepsake box, The box is paper mache’ with a colorful wash that repeats the color in the art print.
In addition, a collage work of handmade rice paper is added which creates soft
textures that enhance the image. Finally, the surface is brushed with an
iridescent gold completing the keepsake box.
